Bangkok Theatre Project (BTP) began with a moment of pure wonder. As big fans of the book, I took my daughter to see "The Tiger Who Came to Tea" at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London.
To be honest, we had no idea what a children's theatre performance would actually entail, but from the moment the lights dimmed, we were both completely captivated from start to finish. It was her very first live show, and seeing a story we loved so much come to life on stage opened our imaginations in a way we never expected. Watching her eyes widen with joy, I realized that theatre was the "magic key" to a world where anything is possible.

As an early years educator and an excited mom, I returned to Thailand with a vision to bring that same international standard of storytelling home. I dreamed of sourcing world-class children's theatre and musicals from across the globe so that families here could experience the very best.
Together, we believe that drama education and live theatre offer children a "magic key" of their own. It is a healthy, screen-free escape where their creativity can flourish. When a child steps into a character's shoes, they aren't just playing—they are building empathy and learning to understand the feelings of others.
